Don'T Eat At Jack's Poem by Juan Olivarez

Don'T Eat At Jack's

Rating: 5.0

Jacks ain't a fit meal for man nor beast,
Only fleas, ticks, and maggots enjoy the feast.
Might as well chew on a cholla, than on a jack,
You won't chew funny things, and things won't go black.

But that Botfly larvae is extra meat,
And they grow huge, in the desert heat.
If you see a Jackrabbit just wave it bye, bye,
Cause if you eat one, you will surely cry.

Or die....bye, bye....Gotcha.
