Don'T Forsake Poem by Sharon Andrews

Don'T Forsake

Don't Forsake
Give me a break
I have tears that would fill a lake
Of stories of spite that would break the strongest
That make false promises
Will take you to dark places
Seas of distraught faces
That you owe explanations
In Quotations
Maybe it helps
Makes my heart yelp
with constant stretching ache
and time is all thats left
of what has been
and yet to come
filled with reconpence
and warm happy sorrow
that will help heal tomorrow
I've got the love you can borrow
until you feel complete
Don't Forsake
sometimes its worth a second break!

You are right, sometimes its worth a second break rather to give up. Last line uplifts the poem. Beautiful write, Sharon. Best Wishes. Naseer
