Don'T Go To Sleep Poem by Kenyatta Stewart

Don'T Go To Sleep

Don't go to sleep on me.
For I fear you may never wake up.
You may never give me another warm hug.
You may never again tell me'Don't date a thug.'

Dont go to sleep on me.
For I fear I have no one else to call.
You may never hear what I have to say.
You may never say, 'It'll all be ok.'

Don't go to sleep on me.
For I fear this is the very end.
You may never again say 'Don't worry God will see you though.'

So I will overcome my fears,
Say goodnight and wipe away my tears.
I'll see you when I see you
Because you put up a good fight
All I can do now
Is watch you sleep through the night.
Goodnight
