Don'T Judge Me Poem by Jessica Gabanyic

Don'T Judge Me

Rating: 4.3

Look past my brown eyes,
Look past the walls that I have built,
Look just beyond the pain and confusion
And there you will see the fear and loneliness,

Look at the scars on my heart,
And the bruises on my skin,
The smudges under my eyes,
Under all that is a pure love,

Look beyond my imperfections,
The mistakes I've made,
Are just lessons learned,

Look at me and judge me,
Judge me off of my life's story,
Instead of how I act now,

Look past the empty smiles,
And the blank looks,
Look at me and see me for me,
Rather then what I am not,

Look past my brown eyes,
Look past the walls that I have built,
Look just beyond the pain and confusion
And there you will see the fear and loneliness,

Well expressed thoughts and feelings, a poignant bit of verse written from the heart. A work of a sober mind. Thanks for sharing, Jessica.
