Don'T Kill Me Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Don'T Kill Me

Rating: 4.9

No, she is unwanted and not welcome,
Do away with it so she doesn’t come,
Worries may be more and flood the home,
Better terminate the pregnancy chances and freely roam,

This the situation prevails for baby child’s birth
She is not welcome in family with love and warmth
Still we discriminate and have narrow views
Do the parents need some education and reviews?

Was I not borne out of affection and love?
Were not so many praises made before dove?
I was so happy to witness world and come out,
Finally heard in the womb the talk about,

I used to hear birds beautiful love song,
When we used to go for walk along,
All lovely talks while watching beautiful pair among,
I was breathing at a place not supposed to be wrong,

It doesn’t amount any murder,
Beautifully done with no wonder,
Sky also doesn’t fall with thunder,
I can only cry with sky above and soil under,

Will it be a premature death?
No new world for me and fresh breath,
Was this the vow taken under oath?
Running away from reality or compromising on both?

Can you listen and pay attention to my simple words?
Is there no safe place for us in this world?
Do you desire our untimely demise?
What will happen to your early promise?

It is sheer nonsense to behave in isolated manner
How does it help to make the population thinner?
It is simply a lame excuse to do away with pregnancy?
Bay or no baby it has nothing to do with relevancy

HE is there to see you all?
What will you reply when you receive a call?
You may suddenly have rise and fall
Don’t create hatred as strong wall,

We are like beautiful flowers in the garden,
Different in colors with fragrance but not a burden,
Tree also bends when fruits are laden,
You are the only one rejecting the heaven,

Your are the creator but not the CREATOR,
You may be called my originator too
Does the love and affection need any translator?
You be your own judge and transformer

World will not end if we don’t allow the babies boom,
God will not like it and descend the gloom,
It will be too late to find answer in room,
Find happiness when you find the time with groom

In many parts of the world it is still practice
We land no ears and take no notice
It may still go on unabated
If question is not related
