Don'T Look Back Poem by Sugar Bear

Don'T Look Back

There’s no such thing as a perfect person
Yet, people claim more than they should
In life there’s only one direction
No going back, though you wish you could

And over my small years of existence
I’ve only learned one Golden Rule
People believe off what they see
Instead of fighting for the truth
And every head’s in one direction
Every step strengths your frame
Don’t look back at the humiliation, because
You’re stronger now, then when you began

Even if you fall
You’ll rise again
Even if they leave
You’re not alone
This only quote I live after
Cause’ it’s the only truth I know

Each shredded tear hydrates the soil
Each broken heart toughens the soul
Each criticize swells up the mind
Until you yearn to be Gold

So go, why are you waiting?
Holding stress to wilt your bloom
Each step is a new beginning
To endure the new improved you

And over my small years of existence
I’ve only learned one Golden Rule
People believe off what they see
Instead of fighting for the truth
And every head’s in one direction
Every step strengths your frame
Don’t look back at the humiliation, because
You’re stronger now, then when you began

Leave behind the pain once sheltered
It’s a past that you don’t need
Each step’s a new beginning
Full of opportunity’s to spread your wings

To the world you may only be one person
But to one person you may be the world
It only takes one drive to energize you
And it only takes one you to live

And over my small years of existence
I’ve only learned one Golden Rule
People believe off what they see
Instead of fighting for the truth
And every head’s in one direction
Every step strengths your frame
Don’t look back at the humiliation, because
You’re stronger now, then when you began
