Don'T Use All Of Me Poem by Cameron Penrose

Don'T Use All Of Me

Rating: 5.0

capture my interest, but don't hold it captive
exercise my freedom, but don't make me too active
entertain my fantasy, but don't charge me a fee
jog my memory, but don't let my harness go free
blow my mind, but open my sails first
pay me attention, but don't worry about sales first
expend my energy, but don't spend all of me
I need some matter left, so what's left still matters to me

What a great poem! Stimulation of the brain. Very important...

There is a spring in each line of this, from its first idea to the next. And each line repeats that thrill. I also like the self-assertion in this poem.
