Don’t Wait, Jump On The Smaller One Now. Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Don’t Wait, Jump On The Smaller One Now.

Rating: 5.0

Wind is gushing through the window,
Change is inevitable now.

Light is peeping from the roof ventilator,
Darkness is searching the corner.

Sound of chattering birds soothing the ears,
Faith whispers, “I am back again”.

This nature is trying to interact with our soul,
And we are entwined in worthless worries.

Small things around us carry enough happiness
Yet we crush them for want of bigger happiness.

We have point to ponder on, how we want to live?
accrue small happiness and enjoy or to run for the bigger ones.

I have learned a bitter lesson now
let your better sense prevails.

Don’t wait, jump on the smaller one now.

The message is clear for everybody to grasp. Thanks for sharing a wonderful poem which emphatically lays down the rule: Small things around us carry enough happiness Yet we crush them for want of bigger happiness.
