Don'T Want To Poem by Lonnie Hicks

Don'T Want To

Rating: 2.7

I can walk down
the up stair case;

I can make it rain up.

I can contradict the gospel truth

but I can't leave you.

I make water wine
time suspend
make the clock spin
and rewind.

but I can't seem to get enough of you.

Voodoo spells,
nostrums and remedies,
won't cure this addiction;

I am helpless melt;

can't get enough of your smile
your kiss
your arms
your eyes
enveloping.

Drop me from three stories high
and I'll bounce
smiling;
take my car
take my money;
dress me in rags honey

but I still
can't get enough of you.

Don't want to.
