Donny's Turn. Poem by jasper jcs

Donny's Turn.

Rating: 4.0

She melts into the horizon.
Something must have been lost,
For me to feel just how I do.
What is gone is gone forever.

Last week she whispered why,
It carelessly entered my mind.
I'm far too cold to simply fall,
we both knew, it's nothing it all

What's gone is gone

Last night she was the horizon.
We danced on waves of wine.
Balancing up on high wires,
above the sad stars on tv.

If she stepped out for some air,
return, she wouldnt dare.
Before, it's what i wanted.
And more gone than i knew.

What's gone is gone.

The rain comes, I dont mind.
Wash away what I left behind.
Wash away inatimate scenery,
I dont wish to know them at all.
