Stick it out
Do you think its better on the other side?
No one knows,
Better or worse,
Death or life,
Do you lock yourself away?
Push the light out,
Shut the door on your life,
Extinguish the candle,
Believe the voice in your head telling you to cast yourself away,
Fearing there wont be a brighter day,
Feeling you will lose everything like a scared child,
Crying alone in your room,
Trying to believe it will be okay,
All the time in the back of your mind,
The glitch,
The poison,
The evil,
The bad and the good,
Just lost,
Being washed away,
Flooding the room with tears,
With fears,
The demons hiding in the dark,
Waiting to get you,
Sleeping with one eye open,
Never shutting off,
Just grinding your teeth,
Anxious,
Searching for the place you fit,
Believing you can never really find it or be happy,
Just existing here in purgatory,
Stuck in a circle.
