Dormant Love Poem by Debra Miller

Dormant Love

Words cut like razors...steel tongued repertoires,
coursing veins of crimson colored legacies,
trapped within the chamber of a fragmented resurrection.
Cascading tears cleanse tormented kisses...
swallowed upon a pillow of muffled screams,
the mind resonating love sonnets,
quiets the dismemberment of emotionless existence.

Shattered dreams
broken promises
lies impart truth,
visions of tomorrow
lay dormant in the heart!
