Doubts Poem by maria guzvic

Doubts

Rating: 3.5

Doubt is an animal
That nibbles inside
Gnaws till the flesh
Rips on the outside

Thoughts stream through veins
Hastens far into night
Churns wild in the stomach
Till daybreak pours light

Raking over images
Contemplating the world
Relinquishing anguish
Cloudless skies unfurled

Ignore the ambush
That fights tooth and nail
To tether your being
Consequences unveiled
