I keep replaying the day we sat awaiting the train
to take you away
seemed I knew not what to say suspended in the doorway
to go or to stay

fading you call out my name just once again and again
so right it cannot not be wrong
but I feel far much more pain than even before you came
now that you’re gone

even when no sun is shining
I see you’re Clouds
and your crying
Rain
you’re Tears
your tears down on me

there are times I despise when I open my eyes
and find you are not there
except that these are the times I remember your kind
and how much you dare

to see no more flowers in your eyes nor dew that drops when you cry
and pretend I don’t care
to see your sun shining high to know we share the same sky
no matter where

you and I just keep on dreaming
and you’re Sun
keep on beaming
Shine
You’re Rays
Your rays down on me
