Down This Road Poem by Sentamu Aziz

Down This Road

DOWN THIS ROAD

Lives the success

Filled with challenge

Covering the smiles

You wish and dream of

Day and night

Eyes of jealousy

Criticism and rebuke

Tempt the faith

That zooms the future

Down the valley

I whistle through

Drenching down

From the scotch above

Listening to none

But the voice of my heart

That keeps me going

With smiles to what I do
