As I lay me down to sleep
I pray to anything left
That I don’t fall so very deep
Right into the arms of death

As she lay me down to sleep
Right on a sharpened Kris
I wish away the pain I keep
And that I’d die from your kiss

As you lay me down to sleep
I can’t help but want to cry
Because I wish it were me you’d keep
But in the end I know I’ll die.

As I lay me down to sleep
There’s nothing I can do
Even though I fell so deep,
I know that I still love you.
