Dr Dolittle's Domuch Daughter Poem by Saiom Shriver

Dr Dolittle's Domuch Daughter

Sturgeon killer Jack the Ripper
didn't care that the sturgeon
had no zipper.

But along came Dr Dolittle's
daughter
who saw the bleeding fish
lying in the water.

She took the suffering sturgeon
to a kind and talented surgeon
...then released her to the sea when
moontide waters were surging.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
(to Shirley Weber of Germantown
Md and to Dr. Robert Sigler
who has in many decades treated
thousands of animals of the poor
and animal rights workers without
fee)
(caviar comes from this
particular form of cruelty)
(Pate also comes from hideous
cruelty.. the force feeding of
geese.. a brass ring is attached
to their throats so they cannot
regurgitate.. they die of a burst
liver)
