For now I serve
my deep emotions
'piping hot' unseasoned
fresh off my hot head

lest my light scrawls,
thoughts ephemeral
On sands of mind
scrawled, Be erased

One day, someday
I will pick and hold
each etching of mine
vaulted on PH

roll them around
in the oven of mind
file and polish
each word and rhyme

till they glow
'Kohinoor' in shine
for enthralled audience
to admire and quote

until that day arrives
as greedy treasure hunter
I stretch my fingers
to grab each rough one

as they boil and emerge
rough crystals untumbled
from universal conscience
lest they vanish to nothingness

Keep them fresh. Revisit and add lines. Fresh poem has its rhythm, let rhyme be kept aside. Polished diamond loses its weight.

Very deep emotions speak here about expression of thought in each line. Day definitely arrives to awake universal conscience. Interesting and nice drafting shared.....10
