Dragon Poem by Khadim Hussain

Dragon

If I had a pet dragon
What could I call him?

I could name him after,
Famous footballer, cricketer, film star or
Even a pop stars.

He would tame and not breathe fire
Then I could take him to park.

All the children would gather,
Saying “What lovely giant green wings! ”
Some would pat his head, others touch his wings,
And some his long tail.

Being my pet he would be well trained,
Naturally he’ll only eat adults,
And just a few at a time.
