Drayang - The Home Of Shapely Ones Poem by Pema Wangchuk

Drayang - The Home Of Shapely Ones

Candidly, Drayang is the burlesque venues
Where the wedded men aged in 50s and 60s
Can get the succor of female attention
By spending the hard earned money
Something they are destitute back at home.

To win the hearts of the nubile young ladies
Wedded men leave home with utmost fervent
Holding a glass of Foster and 11000 drinks
Showcasing the snobbish act of gallantry
Hard earned pennies falls on the stunning girl-so called the ‘Request'.

Inside the Drayang one factor hold the truth
Everything is measured in terms of Capital
Man like me who succumbed to the magnetism of girl's charm
Frequent the Drayang as more than usual
Can't endure seeing an elegant damsel

As they imbibe beyond the periphery
Starting to enter in a state of inebriated
Liquor libations bolster their desire to surpass
Forgetting the standards of a married men
They often make phony promises to the Damsels!
