Dread Of Justice Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Dread Of Justice

Sighed Dumpling, 'Do not put me, please,
With Cabbage in the pot.
I don't object to boil with Peas;
But she, when she is hot,
Has such a smell that half you see,
Would certainly be laid on me.'
