Nom Nom Nom

Rookie (May 26,1995 / Canada)

As fast as the blood flows
as fast as the feet goes
breathing takes longer when you're feeling numb
imagination doesn't take place when you have no freedom

here's a story I'd like to tell you
and if you don't like it then do what you need to do

Imagine yourself on a faraway land
where people put effort to lending a hand
you're all alone, no one's around
you're someplace you don't want to be found
you don't need money, things like that
theres no one around to call you skinny or fat
there's plenty of your favourite foods, and a river below
but if you didn't want to dig, there's a beach also
clean water, nice clean water
cool during the day, and during the night it's warmer
perfect life
but I forgot there's a knife
this story is based on my favourite dream, but it turns
i cut myself and sit and burn
that's not the end
there isn't one yet friend
I'm still young, and don't want to die
just right now I'm fed up with every lie
I'm going to sleep now, so I'll see this dream again
When will I wake up, I don't know when
