Dream Poem by Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi

Dream

Rating: 2.5

When the night turned pale
in the moonlight,
I came across a city,
where walls were conspicuous
but roofless.

Only phantoms moved in the lanes.
Bodiless phantoms!
(Or shadows without bodies.)
