Dream Poem by darkness reigns

Dream

Rating: 4.5

round and round
I wander through my dreams
Moonlight shining from afar
As i paddle along the seashore
Calm and peace wrap around me tight
As I wander through and through
People come and people go, they have no faces but I know
I know they are a part of me
I walk and I walk
through valleys of stone and tree
Until I come upon thee.
You stand there tall and proud
Calling me
Your hair a deep dark brown
Your clothes shimmering as you move
But your eyes oh your eyes
They pull and pull me till I only stand
but a few feet away
Still you call to me
I come to thee.
And he embraces me
He whispers his love to me
And I to him
He says he must go but will be back before I know
I just have to wait....
Now wake.
I open my eyes to the morning sunrise
It was all a dream I say
But the final whispered words echo to me
so I wait
And i dream
Until I come...
Upon thee.

Dreams are hateful mockeries. The poem is astounding; it really captured the in the moment dreaminess.
