Dream-Girl Poem by Bireswar Halder

Dream-Girl

Once on a rainy midnight,
You came to me as a luminous light.
Spreading your fragrance everywhere,
The surroundings became divine.

Your presence flustered me so much
That I stared at you, being bewildered
Seeing your beautiful and smiling face.
Keeping a rhythm with the drizzling sound

I felt like dancing in pleasure with no bound
With you, heaven seemed within my reach
Where I emerged into the eternal peace.

An oyster has no value without its pearl,
I`m alive with you as you are my dream girl.
Without your company, I have no role,
As you are the real guide of my soul.
