Dream Land Poem by Michael Carlson

Dream Land

Rating: 2.7

I look out
into the deep blue sky
wishing I could run about
Or maybe to just fly

I look into the dark green
Wishing to never be seen
Or maybe to hide from the feigns
And finally get to pursue my dreams.

A land and time
Full of kings and queens
Where there were bards with tons of rhymes
Where there were knights in armor that gleamed

In this place i wish to be
Because this place is right for me
I would always be free
And I'd never have to flee

I like the composition of the poem, good imagination. I would just pay a little attention to spelling. Maybe you were trying to say flee in the end? :))
