Dream Serenade Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Dream Serenade

Mesmerized and hypnotized
Sylvia's radiance captured his mind.
Every time the violins played
'Fascination' was the dream serenade.

Spellbound by her countenance divine
A poetical book of love he designed.
Beautiful love sonnets were displayed
All written for his Shakespearean maid.

Their wedding vows would ever abide
And the organ played for groom and bride
Mesmerized with true love in their eyes
Oh, a dream serenade never dies.
