Once apon a time
dreamers weren't extinct
And you would find
everything was a sinch
People often dreamed
of things so lovely and pure
everything seemed
so clear and sure
but the guns came
and bombs exploded
people got fame
and this started comotion
Life wasn't rainbows
and clouds with a silver line
Life didnt let us show
It never let us shine
For while they were dreaming
life slipped right by
and hatred was beeming
from every twisted smile
we ripped out their hearts
and took away their dreams
in our palms their hearts
as we laugh at what it seems
robots they are
working with no cheer
dreams are by far
the stupidest things to hear
Our reality is only so so
and our hearts often broken
so the dreamers have died
their dreams their tokens
the ones who dare to dream
are of failure told
things aren't what they seem
pretty soon they find....
dreaming gets disappointing
and old
