Dreaming Before Sunrise.... Poem by Patricia Gale

Dreaming Before Sunrise....

Rating: 5.0

Feeling a deep sigh form from my soul
My heart close enough to heaven that
I could touch an angel’s wings
As I lay next to you
My head perfectly on your shoulder

Your loving arms hold me close
A babe in her cradle
My finger tips glide across your chest
Soft and warm
My heart begins to dissolve

Fading and melting into the morning
As you steal the beauty from the sunrise
I take a piece of heaven with me
As my feet walk upon the clouds
And I surrender to a dream

Reading this is like a dream, Patricia. Ever so beautiful. Wonderful wordplay ('babe in her cradle') , silky imagery and mood.
