Dreaming In Reality! Poem by Robert Kallend

Feelings true within darkness of eyes,
Connection strong, with no chance of lies.
Forever and always love is found,
Girl in my dreams, reality bound.

Constant recurrence, this resurrection of mind,
Memories and possibilities flash undefined,
Yet this chance is not one that will be there for long,
But none the less can it indeed be naught but wrong?

Heart and soul pivot upon foolhardy game,
When all answers peak towards my shame,
Girl of my dreams not mine in reality,
Developing feelings perhaps all but triviality.

Remember smiles of clear emotion,
Bringing about this thought of devotion,
Taking us far. This blinding scene.
Then waking from a heart pounding dream.
Life goes on and so do we,
Never together for the world to see.
