Dreams Poem by Sergio D'Amico

Dreams

Rating: 4.3

Some dreams are carved by hand,
Some dreams are sketched on sand,
And some dreams tend to fade,
into the loneliness of the shade.

But some dreams tend to last forever,
and rush like streams to the river
They live and carry on,
long after we are gone.

One thing is true of every dream
They are never what they seem;
Sometimes they survive the light
and come to haunt us back at night.

The colours of words and imagery, the sound of rhymes, make this poem is really a beautiful piece... I like how you talk about dream, yes it is something surreal but also something that evoke our passion and motivation. Beautiful work Sergio!
