Dreams And Chimeras Poem by Maria Barbara Korynt

Dreams And Chimeras

Rating: 5.0

freed ghosts are dancing a waltz rotary
a fiend is playing along them
on the limewood violin
beside two short men with big ears
are cheering in honour of the dark blue night

the bat clutched to the ceiling of the sky
and hardened without the move, with thick
sleepiness cornered, after the lightning loud thunderbolt
from the high sky it rang church bells with the impetus

dreams are bumming the restless head about aimlessly
chimeras are flying away into the angle of the dark room
in order to retreat with dawn backwards and to come back
in the peace, up to the care of the poetic angel

Great poem. Perfect in j. Polish - particularly. It is worthwhile reading.
