Dreams And Reality Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Dreams And Reality

Some people's dream are other people's reality
A factory worker dreams of a better life
While his boss owns a mansion that he shares with his wife
The worker struggles to survive by working everyday
At the company of his boss who gives his salary and pay
The boss could afford everything his heart desires
While the worker works hard just to save before he retires
A nurse from Asia dreams of travelling to the land of opportunity
The nurse wish to support his family through financial conformity
The nurse spent years in college just to earn a degree
So someday the nurse could travel to the country he wishes to see
While a man from California who never earned a diploma gets to participate
Every Fourth of July he drinks, eat and celebrate
The California man could travel around the globe at any moment
He could go to any country he desires for adventure and enjoyment
How do you know that a giant tree inside the jungle fell to the ground
If you're far away from the city and didn't hear a sound
Reality is what we can hear, feel and see
The person who could tell the truth is the one who cut down the tree
If you don't believe in eternity
That's because its not your reality
