Dreamscapes Of A John Unforeseen Poem by John W. McEwers

Dreamscapes Of A John Unforeseen

I never knew what is was about you,
Sweet Robert.
Twas the gleam of the moon betwixt we.

Twas the vroom of the zoom
between us,
Sweet Robert
That makes me rethink what we be.

Once upon the sands of time
that did chafe me,
Sweet Robert,
I felt like a man among boys.
But like boys I had the voice of a girl,
Sweet Robert,
I wish I had been a girl.
