Dreamy Daze Poem by Dale Mullock

Dreamy Daze

Rating: 5.0

In a deep purple haze,
coated in ultraviolet rays,
I am captured and caught,
deep in convalescent thought,
dreaming during the day,
full of tales of the fey,
leading to your heart’s desire,
and to what you aspire.
Whether it is some heavenly fantasy,
or reliving some part of history,
here you are in your own world,
with treasure gemmed and pearled,
as a sea-faring, swashbuckling pirate,
leading and tempting your own fate,
as whatever you want to be,
a special haven for you and me.
All people are welcome here,
as all new horizons are clear,
although reddened by sunset,
the long and unsettled debt,
is subdued by the fireside,
where the dreamers confide,
until those ultraviolet rays,
release us from our dreamy daze.

You took my breath away! ! Absolutely beautiful! Those words are ones I could imagine my lover expressing to me. You touched me so much that I held back tears as my heartbeat increased. You move me. Thank you
