I met you behind the closed curtains
The curtains of my drooping eyes
In parks and flashy restaurants
In dreams pleasant and magnificent
Where I see myself riding the crest of the wave
And thus surging towards you time and again
To meet and enfold you in a sweet embrace
And experience within me its joy and grace.
Opening my eyes to the light
I find you nowhere within my sight,
You disappeared so suddenly in a twinkling
Like an Angel in a winking
So I once again clasp my eyes
And summon you to my sight
To meet you in sleepy darkness
And experience the mirage of togetherness.
A Beautiful poem. Many things, goes beyond our reach, seems to be a mirage. Mirage take us long way and too late to realise it was just a dream. Loved reading it.

Great imagination! When reality eludes her presence, to experience the mirage of togetherness, the only alternative is to close the eyes and dream! A lovely poem on love!
