Drift

Head in the water,
Body on ground.
Too many people,
People all around.

Head in the water,
Body on ground.
They are all watching
Without making a sound.

Head in the water,
Body on ground.
Don't pull me out
Unless you want me to drown.

Head in the water,
Body on ground.
Living in a world
Where everyone's crowned.

Because when head's in the water,
Body on ground,
I can actually think
With no laughter around.

Head in the water,
Body on ground.
Don't pull me out
Unless you want me to drown...

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
