Driving Into The Night Poem by Alanna Flynn

Driving Into The Night

Rating: 5.0

On a late night
Early morning
ADVENTURE
with no destination.

Well, (if one might be)
New York City
calls us for
coffee, bagels, and sunrise.

With our hearts on
our sleeves
and a dog in between
we take one another by the hand.

Silence.
All is wordless.
Just being.

Capture the moment
In time
In words
And in rhythm.
