Drowning Poem by ESPN CHICK

I'm drowning in this pain of misery
Everywhere I go pain is there with me
It's my shadow
It stares back at me in the mirror
I can't escape it and I feel so trapped by it

Pain tries to smoother me in the middle of the night
I can't escape it
It torches me to the bone

Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in it
It squeezes me tightly and feels like there's no air around me
I try to rise above the pain but its just to strong

The scars remind me that the pain don't go away easily
I wish there was a way to rid this pain
But I assume I will just drown in this pain of misery
