Drowning With Lies Poem by Katerina Richmond

Drowning With Lies

Day by night, night by day
Sanity, sanity fades away.
Taking spoonfuls of madness,
to help the reality go down.
Laughing harder to help you drown.
Ignoring the pains and joys you've felt,
by sitting and watching your reality melt.

This is wrong, and pointless at best.
For what will you do when you awake from rest?
You're living a dream, a nightmare or more.
When you awake, you'll only be sore...
