Drunken Thunderstorm Lullabies Poem by Noah Ohler

Drunken Thunderstorm Lullabies

In the dark
paper touches pen
under the old tin sound
as it rains again
little droplettes
make with your pretty sound
We're all here to adore you
as you fall from the cloud
to cleanse this earth
of ridden taste
cleanse us of sin
save earth from our waste
replenish, reborn
ignite a spirit through
contradicting embrace
land on face to face, it's you
Hemmingway in words so wise
Jim Morrison told no lies
Third in line, I'll speak wise, no lie
In drunken thunderstorm lullabies

I don't know if you could get drunk on rain but you sure built up an atmosphere here from the first few drops of rain on the tin roof. Some illustrious friends of yours dropp in to share the thunderstorm.10.
