Duck Adventures Poem by Marilyn Lott

I had some duck adventures
With my friends the other day
We took a little time from work
It was important for us to play

We traveled a fancy tour bus
You wouldn’t believe the sight
Then out on the high seas where
A shark didn’t look quite right

We saw the huge white house
Where the governor resides
What a beautiful house it is
I know ‘cause I’ve been inside

We decided we’d better stop
For it was lunch time about then
The sign said it was a chili place
It had such an unusual blend

We toured beautiful buildings
The architecture was just amazing
Pressed our nose against the window
We did a lot of tourist-type gazing

And we’ll be off again real soon
It’s hard to say just where
But we have so many places
That we all just love to share!
