Dutiful Tree Poem by Matthew Foor

Dutiful Tree

Relapse collapsed
Beautiful bliss
Boiled down
Special kiss
Lips and hips
Eyes pry
Fingers entangled
A neck being pecked
Twinkle in her eye
Moon hangs
Within a nights sky
Me and she
Flee with glee
to a dutiful tree
Where we can see
The mark of our heart
Carved in the bark
A chance to be free
Delectable, Insatiable
Loveable, Hugable
Instinctual, Indestructable
