Each New Day Poem by Marilyn Lott

When I woke up this morning
And a sparkling new day was here
I sighed with great relive
It is a day I cannot spare

For we are here to borrow
Life with its awesome glow
I’ll try to enjoy each brand new day
Because I want to love it so

I think we all can do it
No matter what our life
We just have to find a place
That is free from worries and strife

I know that there are many
Who are confined to a small space
For whatever is the reason
Happiness may be hard to trace

But we have this day given to us
Why not do the best we can?
For life goes past so quickly
On this great God created land!
