Eagle And Life Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Eagle And Life

I can trace the eagle
That has spread its wings
Beyond the raucous cloud

It has diamond eyes
Fixed on slithering snake
Hissing on the yard aloud

Clutching wind tight
Between talons it moves
Bereaving the stolen peak

Its purpose is to dive
As hail from much height
Smashing its head and beak
