Ear Today, Gone Tomorrow Poem by Manjula Reddy

Ear Today, Gone Tomorrow

Ear Today, Gone tomorrow

Here's a canal, nice and snug
Lemme get in, coz I'm a bug

A cozy hangout indeed, cool to stay
No rain here, to wash me away

Drums too have I to play, to beat
Awesome! I wish my kin too I could treat

Sadly, my tresses caused an itch so terrible
Darn it!  I've just been found, how horrible

Please, don't fault me for the bad parking done
For driving into a tunnel with an exit, just one

I must confess, a female arachnid am I
My driving skills, often make my mate cry

How's he gonna rescue me this time?
Let him figure it out, while I powder my nose and write a cute rhyme...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A response to two posts on fb.
One: that there was a spider found in a woman's ear canal.
Two: that women drivers are bad as they are more worried about makeup.

I combined the two and came up with this poem.
