Earth In Disguise Poem by Roshan Roy

Earth In Disguise

The World was naked before
But today I see it drowning in disguise
The brains and hearts were naked before
But now they are infected by self-centeredness
Souls were as pure as morning dews
But now the crookedness has engulfed them
The sky was free and spotless
But now ugly clouds of sins have covered it up.
The naked light was bliss for all
But now UV rays corrode all on the way
Peace and fraternity was the ultimate goal
But now every individual plays a deceiving role
The truth was immortal, naked and divine
But now it is adorned with pile of lies
The rivers carried flowing emotions
But now ponds of materials have replaced them
Feeling of altruism was common among all
But now even humanity is extinct
Our planet was a lively one before,
But now, we humans have made it a scrap.

This is good, many truths here, well done.
