Earth's Motions Poem by Meg Harrison

I can see the wind blowing the leaves all around
And I hear the leaves blow in the wind to the ground
And I feel the wind blowing against me.

I see the snowflakes drifting down onto the green grass
Covering the green grass with the snowflakes
I come outside and make a footprint in the white blanket of snow.

When the rain come pouring down from the clouds, I hear it splattering against my window.
After the rain, Nature looks dark and wet.

Sunshine comes to bring brightness and warmth to nature.
Someday I will not hear, see or feel the rain, snow
Leaves fall down but it will cover me on top of the ground
And sun will warm my soul.

As long as there is the world
We will always have rain, snow and leaves
falling down to cover the top of the ground.
