So you think you know me
The mystery of my mind
The reason I confess so hesitantly
The equation of my kind
And you think you know this
After one late night conversation
Apparently my insistance is easy to dimiss
You've discovered this after little contemplation
You breeze through my pages
Since I'm such an easy read
You check me out and return me with easy exchanges
As if I'm some useless need
You like the fact I'm rather see-through
My vunerability seems to make you feel in control
But you're blind to my distain for you
A plot in which you'll never have a role

I like the metaphor of the book...obviously because I'm a nerd haha. It's cleverly woven throughout the whole poem until a clear image comes to life at the end. Your metaphor is like seasoning in this poem. Sprinkled atop to compliment the whole meal without taking anything away. My favorite line is: And you think you know this After one late night conversation. So many people make that line sooo true.
