Easy Street Poem by Veronika Knollman

Easy Street

Patrolling the entrance
Here they come
Inevitably the guests arrive
Lit up in the spotlight

Crowd swarms around
Overtly they absorb the attention
Living a life of fame
Lazy days and sleep-filled nights
Instead of working 9 to 5
No responsibility, they spend up
Sitting around watching the money roll in

A bitter portrait... nice writing!
